6th Annual OHH Saltwater Fishing Tournament
The 6th Annual Saltwater Fishing Tournament will be held Friday, August 13th, at the Port O'Connor Community Center, Port O'Connor, Texas. Entry fee is $150 per person, and both individuals and teams of between 2-6 people may register. Entry deadline on line is Friday, August 6, 2010; on-site registration will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12th. The team captain of every team must register his or her team no later than 8:00 p.m. on August 12, 2010
Reminder: if you are fishing past nine miles from shore, you are in federal waters and must have a shark permit for big fish. This permit can be acquired by calling 888-872-8862.
Again this year, OHH will have the opportunity to sponsor children from the Bluebonnet Youth Ranch, in Yoakum, to participate in the tournament. As in previous years, all fish weighed in will be donated to the Ranch, which is licensed as a private child care facility for dependent, neglected and abused children. You may sponsor a child for $225, or partially sponsor a child for $100. This pays for transportation, food, lodging, guide, boat and all the fixin's.
