Remembering Longtime OHH supporter Terry Edwards

Terry Edwards, November 6, 1957 – December 30, 2018

We are deeply saddened by the passing of longtime OHH member and Board Member Terry L. Edwards. He inspired us through his passion, his generosity and his gift of laughter. He will be greatly missed.

Terry L. Edwards was born on November 6, 1957. He graduated from Altus High School in Oklahoma in 1976, and from Tarleton University in Stephenville, Texas in 1988. Edwards worked at the Fort Worth Zoo relocating animals all throughout the United States. As a Senior Well Control Technical Specialist, he worked more than 300 oil wells in 30+ countries for Halliburton/Boots & Coots, where he retired after 30 years of service.

Edwards enjoyed hunting, fishing and sporting clay tournaments. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Grand National Quail Association and the National Rifle Association (NRA) – where he served as Chairman of Friends in Duncan, Oklahoma from 2003-2005. He was also an Oilfield Helping Hands Board member for the last eight years.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Oilfield Helping Hands in Terry Edwards’ honor.

The graveside service for Terry Edwards will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 11, at Waco Memorial Cemetery, 6623 South I-35 Waco, TX 76707.
