OHH Helping Oilfield Families
Oilfield Helping Hands has provided assistance to hundreds of oilfield families since it was formed in 2003. To qualify for assistance, applicants must meet certain criteria and be nominated by an OHH member in good standing. Applications for assistance are reviewed and voted upon by the Selection Committee. You can learn more about eligibility requirements and get an application on this Website.
How to Get Help
To qualify for financial assistance from Oilfield Helping Hands, applicants must:
- Live and/or work in the oilfield within Oklahoma, including xxxxxxx counties
- Have earned at least 75% of current or last five years of income from the exploration and production side of the oilfield.
All applications must be submitted by an active member. Anyone can request that an "active member" sponsor a family in need; however, the application must be presented by an active member. An active member is someone that actively participates in OHH fund-raising events and attends monthly meetings. The criterion for an active member is attending at least four monthly meetings within a single calendar year and volunteering for at least two events during a single calendar year. Download an Application for Assistance below (Word or PDF), which will be submitted to the Chairman of the Selection Committee, who reviews and votes whether to approve disbursement of funds.
