OHH helps oilfield families in the Houston area in financial crisis. Because we are an all-volunteer organization with the financial support of corporate members and event sponsors, we have been able to return over $860,000 to recipients that we have raised through five annual fund-raising events, corporate memberships and donations since 2003.
Applications for assistance are submitted to the Chairman of the Selection Committee by OHH members in good standing. At the next monthly meeting of the committee, the application is reviewed and voted upon. However, the OHH President may also grant emergency relief up to $2,000 without Selection Committee review, with the Chairman's concurrence.
