This year, 2010, is an exciting year for Oilfield Helping Hands. We will reach the $1 million mark in money we have given to “Oilfield Families in Crisis.”
Hunting PLC has awarded Oilfield Helping Hands the Hunting Art Prize for charitable organizations for 2010. This $100,000 award, as designated in the application, will be used to expand the scope of Oilfield Helping Hands, in order to help us help even more oilfield families in the future.
We have three regular events left in 2010 - the Fishing Tournament at Port O’Connor in August, the Golf Tournament at BlackHorse Golf Club in September and the Fall Classic Sporting Clays in October.
The Deepwater Horizon blowout has sent shock waves throughout our industry and our extended family. Oilfield Helping Hands is sponsoring a special event to aid the families of those that lost their lives in this tragic accident. We are teaming with other organizations, companies and individuals to hold the Deepwater Horizon Sporting Clays Benefit in September. This WILL BE the largest event OHH has ever undertaken.
